Responsibilities
- Architect end-to-end AI and machine learning solutions using Azure Machine Learning, OpenAI APIs, and generative AI technologies.
- Design and implement model development, training, evaluation, deployment, monitoring, and logging pipelines.
- Develop, fine-tune, and optimize machine learning and computer vision models for latency, scalability, and accuracy.
- Implement generative AI use cases including conversational AI, document summarization, and image generation.
- Integrate AI solutions with enterprise applications, APIs, data sources, and existing workflows.
- Work on object detection, retail shelf analysis, product recognition, SKU detection, synthetic data generation, dataset preparation, annotation, and image augmentation.
- Optimize and deploy models to edge devices, servers, or mobile platforms using GPU and inference technologies.
- Establish ethical AI, data privacy, regulatory compliance, governance, transparency, and reliability practices.
- Partner with data engineers, cloud architects, business analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders.
- Mentor junior team members, provide technical guidance, and communicate complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience designing and deploying machine learning solutions on Azure Machine Learning.
- Strong programming skills in Python and C++.
- Experience training object detection models and using OpenCV for computer vision.
- Experience with synthetic data generation, image augmentation, and dataset preparation, annotation, and extraction.
- Experience with vision-language models such as CLIP, LLaVA, Florence, Grounding DINO, OWL-ViT, or GPT-based vision models.
- Experience with retail shelf analysis, product recognition, or SKU detection.
- Knowledge of GPU optimization, CUDA, TensorRT, and ONNX Runtime.
- Experience deploying models to edge devices, servers, or mobile platforms.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, communication, presentation, stakeholder-management, and prioritization skills.
