Responsibilities
- Develop embedded software for the Bluetooth Stack according to the BTIP project vision and roadmap.
- Write, test, document, and verify embedded software deliverables against specifications and requirements.
- Own the quality of delivered software and support software planning and progress reporting.
- Schedule tasks, set priorities, meet deadlines, and collaborate with software architects and project leaders.
- Mentor, coach, and technically supervise more junior team members.
- Represent team and stakeholder perspectives in system architecture.
- Diagnose and solve problems using embedded debugging tools in resource-constrained environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor-level education with approximately 6 years of deep embedded software experience, or an academic-level qualification with 4 years of experience.
- Proficiency in C programming and experience developing software for deeply embedded platforms.
- Competence across software engineering, coding, testing, verification, and software quality ownership.
- System knowledge spanning software and hardware.
- Familiarity with software development methodologies, software testing, and source-code management.
- Strong analytical, diagnostic, problem-solving, communication, prioritization, and deadline-management skills.
- Desirable: proven Bluetooth Stack development experience.
- Desirable: software development for ARM Cortex-M processors.
- Desirable: multidisciplinary experience in digital hardware and embedded software.
