Responsibilities
- Design and develop custom solutions on the ServiceNow platform using Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, and Catalog Client Scripts.
- Build and maintain scoped applications with App Engine and develop workflows using Flow Designer and Integration Hub.
- Create and enhance Service Portal and Workspace components using UI Builder.
- Design and implement inbound and outbound integrations using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, MID Server, Integration Hub spokes, IAM, and third-party systems.
- Implement and maintain CMDB structures aligned with CSDM, including Discovery, Service Mapping, data normalization, and Identification & Reconciliation Engine logic.
- Optimize, troubleshoot, and maintain server-side and client-side code for performance, scalability, and upgrade safety.
- Support platform upgrades, hotfix testing, and regression validation.
- Mentor junior developers and participate in technical design and code reviews.
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, and business analysts.
Requirements
- 6–10 years of IT experience, including at least 6 years of ServiceNow experience.
- Prior experience as a ServiceNow Technical Lead or Senior Developer.
- Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow platform architecture.
- Expertise in ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, CMDB/CSDM, IRM, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, scoped applications, App Engine, UI Builder, and Workspace architecture.
- Solid understanding of REST and SOAP APIs, MID Server architecture, and ServiceNow security including ACLs, roles, and data protection.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification is required.
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer certification is strongly preferred.
