Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain high-scale production cloud infrastructure for availability, performance, and resilience.
- Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code practices for consistent and efficient deployments.
- Use Linux and networking expertise to improve system performance, security, and reliability.
- Translate business requirements into effective cloud solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure and service issues affecting millions of users.
- Develop and operate services and tools that improve production resilience and developer velocity.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience working on live production systems.
- Proficiency in Linux and networking fundamentals.
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes fundamentals and internals, including hands-on cluster administration.
- Strong understanding of AWS fundamentals, including IAM, networking, and managed services.
- Knowledge of provisioning and configuration management tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi, or Chef.
- Experience with Python and Bash scripting.
- Experience with monitoring tools including Prometheus and Grafana.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
