Responsibilities
- Analyze user requirements and derive software design and performance requirements.
- Design, develop, modify, debug, test, and integrate complex software systems.
- Develop algorithms, database queries, and data repository interfaces subject to performance and resource constraints.
- Write and review software and system documentation and improve development process standards.
- Resolve software problem reports and correct defects or performance issues.
- Perform quality control, assist with test procedures, and coordinate software installation and operational monitoring.
- Collaborate with system and hardware engineers and may serve as a team lead or oversee software development teams.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI security clearance with an agency-appropriate polygraph is required.
- Fourteen years of software engineering experience on programs or contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university is required, though four additional years of comparable software engineering experience may substitute.
- Required technical skills include Zabbix development experience, scripting, Python, Java, CSC, and Linux.
