Base Salary
$156k - $260k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect and evolve the ClientWorks platform and its foundational advisor and client-facing capabilities.
- Lead cross-domain architecture initiatives spanning ClientWorks Essentials, Mobile, Compass, Householding, and Design System modernization.
- Conduct technical deep-dives, whiteboarding sessions, and Candidate Architecture Design reviews.
- Ensure platform architecture meets financial-services security, regulatory, authentication, authorization, and data-protection requirements.
- Optimize cloud and hybrid infrastructure for scalable, resilient, cost-effective delivery, including incident response, adaptive capacity, and API performance.
- Lead integrations and automation connecting ClientWorks with Salesforce, Wealthbox, and other third-party platforms.
- Mentor development teams in modern architecture, DevSecOps, and design-system practices.
- Partner with Product and Operations to define KPIs and measure advisor efficiency, scalability, and client experience outcomes.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in cloud-native architecture, AWS or hybrid on-premises/cloud environments, API design, and data integration.
- At least 10 years of experience with front-end frameworks such as React and Angular, mobile platforms, and design systems.
- At least 5 years of experience designing CI/CD pipelines, containerized solutions, and Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform and GitHub Actions.
- At least 5 years of experience collaborating with Enterprise Architecture, Product, Security Engineering, and Infrastructure and Operations teams.
- Demonstrated ability to promote architecture practices and mentor cross-functional teams.
- At least 2 years of experience leading AI-driven initiatives or deploying AI capabilities in production is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional and HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate certifications are preferred.
- Strong communication, strategic thinking, client focus, and ability to operate in a fast-paced regulated environment are required.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements for financial services is preferred.
