Responsibilities
- Design and implement adaptive video encoding algorithms at internal and external codec levels.
- Design and implement video understanding, processing, and enhancement algorithms.
- Design and validate no-reference and full-reference image/video quality metrics.
- Design and implement efficient video delivery and streaming algorithms for Live and VOD services.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent field.
- Strong computer science fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, software design, and problem solving.
- Strong programming, debugging, and optimization skills in one or more general-purpose languages, including C/C++ or Python.
- Solid experience in video understanding, video processing, video coding, video streaming, video quality assessment, or subjective visual quality optimization.
- Familiarity with video coding standards such as AVC/H.264, HEVC/H.265, AV1, and VVC is preferred.
- Experience with open-source multimedia projects such as x264, x265, and FFMPEG is preferred.
- Experience with short-video streaming, video transcoding, or live streaming is preferred.
- Experience with deep learning and neural-network-based video coding, processing, or streaming algorithms is preferred.
- Experience optimizing algorithms on CPU, GPU, and mobile platforms is preferred.
- Collaborative mindset and strong written and verbal communication skills.
