Base Salary

$69k - $131k/yr

Responsibilities

Collaborate with physicists, mathematicians, signal processing experts, and other scientists to understand algorithm goals and limitations.
Optimize software performance through parallel processing, GPUs, and other processing accelerators.
Translate algorithms from Python and MATLAB into optimized C, C++, and CUDA implementations.
Model and test algorithms in high-performance computing environments.
Architect, design, implement, test, and debug integrated real-time software.
Work on cross-disciplinary teams and contribute to proposals and preliminary and critical design reviews.
Optionally travel for customer collaboration and professional community interaction.

Typically requires a STEM degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience.
Requires experience developing, testing, and integrating real-time software applications in C, C++, or closely related languages.
Requires development experience on Linux-based systems.
Requires an active and transferable Secret U.S. government-issued security clearance before starting; U.S. citizenship is required for clearance eligibility.
Preferred qualifications include the ability to navigate complex systems and established codebases, Scrum-based product development experience, Git, GitLab, Jira, optimized CUDA programming for NVIDIA accelerators, MATLAB, Python, and an active Top Secret clearance.

Onsite work in Plano, Texas; applicants must be local or willing to relocate.
