Responsibilities
- Build and maintain test infrastructure and release orchestration tooling as production-grade software.
- Design and implement test automation frameworks, including migration from Cypress to Playwright.
- Define automation framework and strategy for unit, integration, API, and end-to-end testing.
- Partner on maintaining systems for build promotion, deployment gating, and rollback.
- Integrate observability into test frameworks to track flakiness and execution metrics.
- Solve challenging engineering problems and pursue impactful work with autonomy.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a software engineer focused on test infrastructure and developer tooling.
- Strong programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript for building backend services and tooling.
- Experience in scaling CI/CD systems and release orchestration pipelines.
- Understanding of the testing pyramid and experience with appropriate automation approaches.
- Experience in building observability into test frameworks to enhance automation reliability.
- Hands-on experience with AI tools in quality workflows and mentoring junior engineers.
