CI/CD Engineer
Northwestern MutualResponsibilities
- Modernize continuous integration, continuous delivery, and automation deployment processes.
- Support application integration and development and accelerate software and infrastructure deployment.
- Identify issues and provide real-time solutions.
- Use and support tools including GitHub, Jenkins, Nexus, Kubernetes, and Ansible.
- Maintain awareness of enterprise standards, industry standards, technologies, methodologies, and best practices.
- Communicate effectively with multiple organizational levels and collaborate with information systems teams and internal clients.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive customer and internal information.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in application integration and development.
- Experience with automation and deployment processes.
- Experience or understanding of testing automation and cloud environments.
- Knowledge of Git, Jira, Jenkins, Maven, and Gradle.
- Expertise with Linux and familiarity with Windows Server operating systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively with team members, other information systems areas, and clients in other departments.
