Responsibilities
- Develop and integrate Android applications using Kotlin, Java, and Android frameworks and libraries.
- Design mobile app architecture and apply appropriate design patterns and development best practices.
- Integrate RESTful APIs, JSON, network frameworks, and third-party libraries.
- Optimize application performance and memory management and address mobile app security.
- Collaborate in cross-functional Agile and DevOps environments using version control and collaborative development tools.
- Support the mobile application development lifecycle and use testing frameworks where applicable.
Requirements
- 3–7 years of relevant Android development experience.
- Proficiency in Kotlin and Java with an understanding of the Android framework and libraries.
- Experience with Android Studio, Gradle, and Git.
- Strong understanding of mobile app architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, network frameworks, and third-party library integration.
- Experience handling performance optimization, memory management, and app security.
- Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant professional experience in iOS application development is preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional Agile team.
