Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage security solutions protecting Braze users and infrastructure.
- Build, maintain, document, and scale security infrastructure across enterprise networking, endpoints, SaaS applications, cloud environments, and system architecture.
- Investigate malware, advanced threats, security events, vulnerabilities, and critical incidents.
- Expand SIEM capabilities by configuring detections, improving alerting, prioritizing data ingestion, and maintaining system operability.
- Implement DLP, policy controls, security automation, reporting, and processes to prevent unauthorized exfiltration of sensitive data.
- Conduct end-to-end security reviews of SaaS applications, including data-flow analysis, architecture, authentication, authorization, and contractual security requirements.
- Develop security policies, enforce compliance, perform vulnerability testing and analysis, and support production IT security.
- Evaluate current and future technology solutions and recommend toolset, process, and security improvements.
- Collaborate with Security, Engineering, business stakeholders, and technical partners on security initiatives and deployments.
- Participate in on-call rotations and respond to critical incidents and escalations.
- Mentor junior associates and serve as a technical authority on security concepts and solutions.
- Document and maintain adherence to security policies and operating procedures.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of Security Engineering experience focused on enterprise security, network security, and endpoint security.
- At least 3 years of experience in a corporate security organization or environment with hands-on, technical, user-facing implementation.
- Prior experience serving as a technical authority within a team environment.
- Hands-on experience securing email, Mac endpoints, IAM, CrowdStrike EDR, enterprise endpoint and infrastructure networking, and forensics.
- Experience with modern technology stacks and protecting SaaS applications.
- Experience conducting SaaS security reviews, data-flow analysis, technical architecture reviews, authentication and authorization assessments, and contractual security evaluations.
- Experience designing and tuning forensics programs across endpoints, networks, and cloud environments, including policy development, incident triage, data classification alignment, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Cloud security experience is a bonus.
- AI security experience is a bonus.
- Technical security certifications beyond high-level concepts are a bonus.
- Strong communication and organizational skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
