Base Salary
$120k - $140k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of complex, scalable software solutions.
- Architect and implement high-performance APIs and microservices for critical business functions.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and engineers to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Conduct code reviews and promote strong coding practices.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers.
- Improve the software development lifecycle through automation, testing, and development pipeline enhancements.
- Troubleshoot production issues and support high availability and reliability.
- Evaluate and integrate tools, frameworks, and technologies to improve development processes and productivity.
- Drive technical project vision and contribute to architecture and long-term planning.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience delivering complex, scalable applications.
- Proficiency in C# or Python and familiarity with their ecosystems.
- Strong understanding of software architecture patterns, including microservices, event-driven architecture, and RESTful API design.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.
- Expertise in SQL and NoSQL database design and optimization.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, technical discussion, stakeholder presentation, and documentation skills.
- Ability to identify, reduce, and resolve ambiguity.
- Preferred experience with HL7 FHIR, resource-first FHIR patterns, FHIR implementation guides, and healthcare data domains including providers, members, prior authorizations, and claims.
