Responsibilities
- Design and implement tracking, track fusion, and discrimination algorithms for air and missile threats.
- Develop high-performance, real-time software for radar sensor data and simultaneous target tracking.
- Build and use modeling and simulation environments to validate tracking performance and system capabilities.
- Collaborate with radar engineers and system architects to integrate solutions into end-to-end defense systems.
- Optimize tracking software for performance-critical environments.
- Communicate technical trade-offs to cross-functional teams, program leadership, and customers.
- Participate in customer demonstrations and field tests.
Requirements
- Eight years of relevant experience and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong programming skills in C++ and Python.
- Foundation in linear algebra, probability, statistics, and/or differential equations.
- Understanding of software design patterns, testing, version control, and debugging.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret SCI security clearance.
- Preferred experience includes tracking, estimation, filtering, controls, digital signal processing, radar, sensor fusion, high-performance computing, machine learning, databases, web development, and modeling and simulation tools.
- Preferred technologies and tools include Kalman filters, particle filters, multiple hypothesis tracking, SQL, NoSQL, time-series databases, JavaScript, React, Node.js, MATLAB, and Simulink.
- An active U.S. Top Secret SCI clearance is preferred.
