Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Delivery teams during discovery, planning, and design to identify quality requirements and risks early.
- Translate product requirements, business objectives, and customer journeys into scalable testing strategies and automated validation frameworks.
- Build testing frameworks, tooling, test data management, environment configuration, and orchestration capabilities for continuous testing at scale.
- Define quality gates, release criteria, launch-readiness standards, and testing architecture across FOX ONE products and platforms.
- Design and implement end-to-end testing across web, mobile, connected TV, backend services, APIs, platform integrations, and distributed systems.
- Create automated regression suites and continuously validate workflows including Multiview, authentication, entitlement, subscription, commerce, content discovery, playback, and live streaming.
- Develop automated monitoring, reporting, and quality intelligence capabilities to identify playback, performance, integration, and customer-experience issues.
- Influence engineering decisions and quality strategy across the FOX ONE ecosystem, mentor engineers, and promote quality engineering practices.
- Use AI-powered tools and workflows to improve test generation, automation coverage, defect analysis, maintenance, and engineering productivity.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience as an SDET, Software Engineer in Test, Quality Engineer, or similar engineering professional supporting large-scale consumer-facing products.
- Expert-level Python development skills for building frameworks, tooling, automation services, and quality engineering platforms.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript-based application environments, including reading, debugging, and collaborating with application engineering teams.
- Demonstrated experience designing end-to-end testing architectures across multiple products, services, platforms, and customer journeys.
- Experience building automated testing solutions for web, mobile, connected TV, APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, distributed systems, CI/CD pipelines, cloud-native applications, and modern engineering practices.
- Experience building automated test data management, environment configuration, test orchestration, and continuous testing capabilities.
- Ability to investigate complex issues, identify quality risks before implementation, influence technical decisions, and align cross-functional stakeholders.
- AI-first mindset and experience using AI-assisted engineering or testing tools.
- Preferred experience includes streaming, OTT, live video, direct-to-consumer subscriptions, connected TV platforms, Playwright, Pytest, Appium, Selenium, AWS, observability, monitoring, production quality validation, and AI-powered testing solutions.
