Responsibilities
- Design and implement software products and components from detailed designs.
- Support software planning, requirements definition, activity identification, and estimation.
- Conduct and document software testing through test plans, procedures, and reports.
- Submit, analyze, and manage configuration change requests according to configuration-management processes.
- Participate in code reviews and coordinate technical status with mentors, supervisors, project leads, and team members.
Requirements
- Be working toward a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or an equivalent field.
- Have knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and experience with Python, C/C++, database systems, and Unix/Linux.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Three years of continuous U.S. residency are required for issuance of a government security credential.
- Be able to obtain and maintain a national agency check and background investigation for facility access.
- Preferred qualifications include Postgres, remote sensing, digital image or signal processing, map projections, AWS Cloud Services, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and artificial intelligence for software code generation and documentation.
