Responsibilities

  • Design and implement software products and components from detailed designs.
  • Support software planning, requirements definition, activity identification, and estimation.
  • Conduct and document software testing through test plans, procedures, and reports.
  • Submit, analyze, and manage configuration change requests according to configuration-management processes.
  • Participate in code reviews and coordinate technical status with mentors, supervisors, project leads, and team members.

Requirements

  • Be working toward a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or an equivalent field.
  • Have knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and experience with Python, C/C++, database systems, and Unix/Linux.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Three years of continuous U.S. residency are required for issuance of a government security credential.
  • Be able to obtain and maintain a national agency check and background investigation for facility access.
  • Preferred qualifications include Postgres, remote sensing, digital image or signal processing, map projections, AWS Cloud Services, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and artificial intelligence for software code generation and documentation.
