QA Engineer

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright.
- Create and execute end-to-end, regression, functional, integration, API, and manual test scenarios.
- Validate RESTful API requests, responses, status codes, headers, authentication, and data.
- Test React applications for functionality, usability, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing.
- Identify, document, track, and troubleshoot defects in collaboration with developers.
- Test AWS-hosted applications across different browsers and environments.
- Participate in test planning, estimation, requirements analysis, and sprint ceremonies.
- Improve automation coverage, test reliability, and overall QA processes.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, business analysts, and other QA engineers.
Requirements
- 3–6 years of experience in software testing, QA automation, or SDET roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright for web automation.
- Experience with API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of web application, end-to-end, regression, functional, and integration testing.
- Experience testing React applications.
- Working knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript for automation scripting.
- Working knowledge of AWS and cloud-based application environments.
- Experience with test automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Git and version control systems.
- Understanding of SDLC, STLC, defect lifecycle, and Agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with HR, HRMS, HCM, payroll, recruitment, employee management, or other HR platforms is highly preferred.
- MCA, B.E., B.Tech., or M.Tech. qualification.
