Base Salary
$135k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, code, debug, and integrate new capabilities for existing and new turreted weapon systems.
- Debug issues with existing systems.
- Integrate new capabilities in the Systems Integration Lab and in the field.
- Design and architect software meeting scalability, performance, and modularity requirements.
- Deliver executable software meeting quality and performance requirements.
- Provide software documentation and other work products meeting contractual requirements.
- Report project status to management during execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Computer, or Software Engineering is desired; other engineering fields may be considered with appropriate additional experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience designing, developing, and testing embedded real-time control software.
- Seven or more years of relevant technical experience is preferred.
- Experience with C is required; Java is a plus.
- Experience with operating systems, especially RTOS; bare-metal and embedded Linux experience is a plus.
- Experience with communication protocol drivers and stacks, including networking, 1553, UART, SPI, and I2C.
- Ability to read and understand electronic part data sheets, electrical schematics, and communication protocol documents.
- Unix internals, low-level driver software, communication interface software, and GUI software experience is a plus.
- Ability to travel approximately 10–15%.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.
