Base Salary
$125k - $229k/yr
Responsibilities
- Optimize system throughput and network bandwidth for high-performance computing workloads.
- Develop probabilistic algorithms to support the scale of user-targeting data.
- Ensure the health, availability, data freshness, quality, and scalability of user-data infrastructure.
- Own the full software lifecycle, including research, experimentation, architecture, coding, quality assurance, monitoring, maintenance, optimization, and automation.
- Plan and execute initiatives while guiding and assigning work to other team members.
- Provide mentoring, technical leadership, and potentially direct management of small teams.
Requirements
- Minimum 6+ years of professional experience in a high-impact software development environment.
- Hands-on experience with .NET Core, C#, Java, Linux, networking, streaming systems, NoSQL databases, and distributed systems.
- Deep expertise at the intersection of distributed systems, high-performance computing, and mathematics; advertising ecosystem experience is ideal.
- Experience building large-scale distributed systems that remain continuously online.
- Ability to evaluate and develop solutions for complex problems from first principles.
- Bachelor’s or master’s-level degree in computer science or a related engineering field, or equivalent experience.
- Understanding of Agile development methodology and development practices.
- Strong planning, execution, technical leadership, collaboration, learning, and problem-solving abilities.
