Base Salary

$170k - $200k/yr

Responsibilities

Design and develop AI-powered automation solutions using AI models, rules engines, and workflow orchestration tools.
Integrate AI-driven components with internal and external services through APIs, message queues, and event-driven systems.
Build and maintain scalable backend systems using Python and frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask.
Prototype intelligent agents and data-extraction solutions using AI and LLM APIs and frameworks.
Identify workflow automation opportunities and translate them into technical designs.
Write clean, testable, and maintainable code and participate in code reviews and architecture discussions.
Support deployments and monitor production systems for uptime and performance.

At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
Strong Python proficiency and experience building APIs and backend systems with FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
Experience integrating AI/ML frameworks or APIs such as OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, or Vertex AI.
Understanding of data modeling, asynchronous programming, and microservice architecture.
Experience automating or optimizing complex workflows using technologies such as NLP, OCR, or RPA.
Proficiency in writing robust tests and working within CI/CD pipelines.
Strong problem-solving ability and curiosity about applying AI to real-world use cases.
Preferred qualifications include production experience with LLMs or AI agents, familiarity with Temporal, Step Functions, or Airflow, exposure to data transformation, labeling, or prompt design, cloud experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure, and enterprise automation or backend integration experience.
