Responsibilities
- Design, code, enhance, and maintain custom software components across systems and applications.
- Design and optimize data storage and retrieval processes in Snowflake and other cloud-based data warehouse environments.
- Implement data integration and ETL processes and use SQL and scripting languages to manipulate and analyze large datasets.
- Integrate data warehouse solutions with custom software applications in collaboration with development teams.
- Improve software performance and reliability through maintenance, performance tuning, and query optimization.
- Document development processes and code changes.
- Work independently, contribute to team discussions, solve work-related problems, and develop subject matter expertise.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience with Snowflake Data Warehouse.
- Proficiency in Snowflake Data Warehouse.
- Experience designing and optimizing data storage and retrieval in cloud-based data warehousing environments.
- Strong understanding of data integration techniques and ETL processes.
- Ability to work with SQL and scripting languages to manipulate and analyze large datasets.
- Familiarity with performance tuning and query optimization in data warehouse platforms.
- Experience integrating data warehouse solutions with custom software applications.
- 15 years of full-time education required.
