Base Salary
$175k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Work with trading tools supporting Cumberland and FICC options trading desks.
- Own products end-to-end from prototyping through stable production.
- Embed with trading desks to understand problem spaces, develop domain models, and build ergonomic, performant, and extensible solutions.
- Build, maintain, and extend the central trading platform across greenfield and legacy systems.
- Provide on-call support as needed.
Requirements
- Have at least 2 years of experience using Python, Java, C++, and multiple programming languages.
- Demonstrate experience working directly with end customers to scope and deliver production systems in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
- Show strong problem-solving, risk-identification, simplification, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Have experience in financial markets, especially delta one store of value and/or FICC options trading.
- Have experience with Linux-based, concurrent, high-throughput, low-latency software systems.
- Experience with functional programming is a plus.
- Have a bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
