Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable, resilient, cloud-native services and AI system functionality.
- Lead architecture and technical direction for enterprise server platforms and core systems.
- Build functional and system-level tests and investigate defects through debugging and root cause analysis.
- Drive features end to end, including design, architecture, release, and deployment decisions.
- Mentor MTS and AMTS engineers through technical guidance and code and design reviews.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, architecture, platform, Data Cloud, and AI Platform teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science.
- 4+ years of industry experience in systems or database internals programming.
- 4+ years of technical leadership in the architecture and design of enterprise server platforms or systems.
- Deep expertise with distributed systems and consensus algorithms.
- Experience designing highly concurrent, multi-threaded or multi-process data structures.
- Strong Java or C programming skills.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, cross-team collaboration, and technical planning skills.
- Preferred experience with Salesforce Platform, Apex, LWC, Data Cloud, Salesforce Agentforce, or Agent Builder.
- Preferred ability to evaluate human- or AI-generated code for correctness, quality, security, and performance.

- The typical annual base salary range is $172,500–$260,100, or $207,800–$285,800 in select San Francisco and New York City metropolitan areas; compensation varies by location, level, skills, and experience.
