Responsibilities
- Contribute bug fixes, enhancements, and software improvements to existing compiler-related products.
- Participate in daily Scrum meetings and collaborative software development activities.
- Develop, test, and maintain software components with the engineering team.
- Use Linux/Unix command-line tools and Bash or shell scripting in daily development.
- Use Git for source control and apply software engineering best practices.
- Deliver meaningful software contributions while gaining experience with professional development processes.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong programming skills in C.
- Familiarity with Python and Bash or shell scripting.
- Experience working in Linux or Unix command-line environments.
- Exposure to low-level systems programming concepts and software engineering fundamentals.
- Experience using Git for version control.
- Compiler, assembly language, operating systems, low-level computer architecture, or systems programming coursework or exposure is highly desirable.
- Compiler course experience and familiarity with collaborative Agile software development environments are preferred.
- Previous internship, programming competition, or hands-on software project experience is a plus.
