Responsibilities
- Develop and improve the STACKIT Cloud Foundry platform for functionality and scalability.
- Ensure software quality and application performance through testing and code reviews.
- Integrate the platform with surrounding STACKIT services to provide a user-friendly customer experience.
- Contribute to open-source projects, including the BOSH Cloud Provider Interface for STACKIT IaaS.
- Share responsibility for deployed services with the product team under a “you build it, you run it” model.
- Perform day-to-day platform operations and L3 support during business hours.
- Participate in a nighttime on-call rotation for incident escalations.
Requirements
- Extensive programming experience, preferably with Go.
- Knowledge of professional software development practices, including development standards and build and release management.
- Several years of experience designing software system architectures, including design patterns, scalability, and resilience.
- Practical experience with CI/CD workflows and automated software delivery pipelines.
- Experience operating and maintaining scalable applications or cloud platforms in live production environments.
- English proficiency for communication in international, agile teams.
- Experience with Cloud Foundry and the Kubernetes Operator Pattern is preferred.
