Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and improve internal developer tools, automation, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment systems.
- Own well-scoped features end to end, including coding, production monitoring, and follow-through on risks.
- Identify developer-experience friction and prioritize improvements using data and metrics.
- Contribute to the reliability and scalability of AWS-based infrastructure.
- Write clean, testable, and maintainable production code.
- Collaborate with platform, security, and product teams on requirements and implementation.
- Participate in on-call rotations and help resolve infrastructure issues.
- Contribute to engineering decisions and use AI tools to improve personal workflows.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of software development or infrastructure engineering experience.
- Strong production software development experience in Ruby or Golang.
- Hands-on experience building internal platforms or developer tooling used by other systems.
- Interest in developer experience and reducing friction for internal engineering customers.
- Production experience with AWS or other cloud infrastructure.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform, and containerized application deployment.
- Experience with CI/CD systems and software delivery pipelines.
- Ability to use observability tools to identify, debug, and resolve production issues.
- Ability to collaborate across platform, security, and product teams.
- Strong ownership, follow-through, communication, and growth mindset.
