Responsibilities
- Develop and improve STACKIT’s MongoDB Database-as-a-Service offering.
- Develop and administer a cloud service for MongoDB databases within an international Scrum team.
- Create automation processes to simplify cloud database operations.
- Stay current with MongoDB features and related components such as MongoDB Controllers for Kubernetes.
- Serve as a point of contact for internal projects.
- Act as a third-level solution expert for STACKIT MongoDB.
Requirements
- Experience with DevOps tooling including GitLab and Kubernetes.
- Experience with monitoring and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Ideally, experience with MongoDB databases.
- Ideally, development experience with Golang, including REST API development and end-to-end testing of Kubernetes manifests.
- Passion for new technologies and NoSQL databases.
- High flexibility, initiative, and commitment.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and work as part of an international team.
