Responsibilities
- Design and develop public APIs and webhooks using C# and .NET.
- Enhance the performance, scalability, and reliability of existing APIs.
- Develop Azure controller microservices APIs for integration projects.
- Implement API authentication and authorization using security protocols such as OAuth and JWT.
- Monitor and troubleshoot APIs to maintain high availability and reliability.
- Create and maintain comprehensive API documentation according to OpenAPI standards.
- Use agentic AI tools such as Claude for code reviews, API test generation, defect identification, optimization, and documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stay current with API development best practices.
Requirements
- At least two years of experience designing and developing RESTful APIs with C# and the .NET framework.
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server and relational databases.
- Proficiency in Azure API development and related services.
- Experience with Azure DevOps for continuous integration and deployment.
- Expertise in API security protocols including OAuth and JWT.
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, communication, presentation, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Preferred experience with Postman, GraphQL, API versioning, caching strategies, serverless architecture, Kubernetes, Prometheus, and Grafana.
