Base Salary
$150k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with simulation engineers, data scientists, and customers to understand engineering challenges.
- Design, build, and test reliable and scalable ML data pipelines.
- Explore and manipulate 3D point cloud and mesh data.
- Own the delivery of technical workstreams.
- Create analytics environments in the cloud or on-premise.
- Select appropriate libraries, frameworks, and tools for tasks.
- Translate R&D results into reusable libraries and products.
- Continuously improve engineering best practices and coach colleagues.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a data-driven role.
- Experience applying machine learning methods to real-world engineering applications.
- Familiarity with ML/Computational statistics/Modeling in industrial settings.
- Proficiency in building ML models and pipelines in Python.
- Experience with distributed computing frameworks like Spark or Dask.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- A background in Physics, Engineering, or equivalent.
