Responsibilities
- Lead implementation of key front-end technologies in the BuildOS product.
- Develop visualization and planning tools for the residential construction process.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy reusable web-based components and libraries.
- Collaborate with UX designers to enhance the design system and implement new workflows.
- Manage relationships between authored model data, backend data, and rendering with application and backend engineers.
- Provide technical expertise on business-critical problem areas, industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Educate and mentor employees to grow the organization’s technical competencies.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- 5+ years of experience shipping production software and leading software projects.
- BS in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience developing web-based front-end applications.
- Experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
- Preferred experience with React, Redux, and RxJS.
- Preferred experience as a technical leader at a startup.
- Preferred experience with component libraries and UX design systems.
- Preferred experience with PostgreSQL, GraphQL, and DynamoDB.
- Preferred experience with Flutter, React Native, or Android.
- Preferred experience with GitHub, Jenkins, or Travis for modern CI/CD workflows.
