Responsibilities
- Develop and configure end-to-end MES solutions using C++, C#, TypeScript, and React.
- Design scalable and maintainable software architectures and implement complex functionality across the full lifecycle.
- Develop backend services, SQL Server and Entity Framework database solutions, and frontend applications.
- Establish Azure DevOps pipelines, automated testing, code reviews, and cybersecurity-compliant quality practices.
- Manage technical work packages, make architectural decisions, coordinate interdisciplinary development teams, and take responsibility for technical delivery.
- Conduct technical workshops with customers and project teams to analyze requirements and develop solution approaches.
- Consult customers on selecting, customizing, configuring, and integrating MES solutions.
- Use AI-powered tools to improve quality and efficiency while critically evaluating results and making autonomous decisions.
Requirements
- Several years of professional software development and/or software engineering experience with demonstrable project successes.
- A degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable engineering discipline is advantageous but not required when relevant professional experience is available.
- Excellent programming skills in C++ and C# and solid object-oriented software development experience.
- Experience delivering complex MES projects and collaborating with customers and interdisciplinary teams.
- Expertise in TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks such as React.
- Practical experience with Azure DevOps, Entity Framework, SQL Server, Node-RED, and Clean Architecture.
- Knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, and clean code principles.
- Strong analytical, documentation, planning, communication, and technical facilitation skills.
- Fluent written and spoken German and English.
- Team-oriented mindset, personal accountability, and enthusiasm for solving complex technical and domain challenges.
