Responsibilities
- Investigate AI-assisted formal verification for a selected Software System Change Request and related user functions.
- Explore how an LLM can translate software requirements into formal properties.
- Review generated specifications before verification.
- Use compilation and static analysis to support the verification workflow where appropriate.
- Assess what the approach can prove, its limitations, and its suitability for the selected code.
- Evaluate specification-driven development support for C++ and Java.
- Compare formal verification results with existing test results without including tests in the formal proof.
Requirements
- Currently studying toward a master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a related field.
- Enjoys programming and is curious about AI and software quality.
- Experience with C, C++, or Java is helpful.
- Application must include a CV, personal letter, and transcript of grades.
- A background check might be conducted.
