Base Salary
$150k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the deployment, health, and continuous improvement of multi-cloud, multi-region SaaS environments.
- Design and evolve cloud architecture for customer availability and performance.
- Contribute to the infrastructure technical roadmap with engineering leadership.
- Own and improve CI/CD infrastructure for automated software delivery.
- Build automation tooling to reduce operational toil and increase developer velocity.
- Define and maintain observability standards across cloud environments.
- Proactively identify performance degradation and lead incident response.
- Mentor and coach junior and mid-level engineers through technical guidance.
- Serve as a partner to application engineering teams throughout the SDLC.
- Participate in the on-call rotation and establish on-call best practices.
Requirements
- 5-7+ years of hands-on DevOps or Infrastructure Engineering experience.
- Proficiency with cloud infrastructure tooling like Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, and Ansible.
- Experience mentoring and coaching engineers.
- Experience managing enterprise-grade data persistence layers.
- Familiarity with observability and monitoring tooling.
- Comfort driving team rituals and contributing to team culture.
- Exposure to modern programming or scripting languages.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
