Responsibilities
- Debug software products using systematic testing methods.
- Develop, modify, and execute software test plans, automated scripts, and testing programs.
- Analyze test results, recommend corrective action, and document findings.
- Write test standards and procedures and maintain test-result documentation.
- Consult with development engineers to resolve software problems.
- Provide feedback for technical appraisals of programming languages, systems, and computation software.
- Ensure quality computer integration into broader scientific computation, data acquisition, and processing functions.
