Responsibilities
- Write and debug complex VBA solutions in Microsoft Access and Excel.
- Contribute to migrating Access-based solutions to Microsoft SQL Server.
- Use Python for web development, scripting, data manipulation, and automation.
- Perform ETL and data preprocessing on complex datasets.
- Use Power BI for data modeling, visualization, dashboards, reporting, and operational insights.
- Liaise with technical teams to move new features and changes into production.
- Write and maintain technical documentation for implemented solutions.
- Implement secure coding practices, logging, and auditing features.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least five years of professional software development experience.
- At least five years of professional experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including T-SQL, SSIS, schema design, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
- Working knowledge of English at B2 level or higher.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle best practices and full-stack solution design, documentation, and development.
- Proficiency with Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, dashboards, and reporting.
- Proficiency with VBA in Excel and Access for automation, data import/export, and preprocessing tools.
- Proficiency with ETL and data preprocessing frameworks such as SQL Server SSIS, T-SQL, Power Query, and Neo4j ETL tools.
- Proficiency with Python for web development, data manipulation, and automation.
- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git and TFS.
- Knowledge of relational databases, especially Microsoft SQL Server.
- Knowledge of Elasticsearch for indexing and querying complex, large, or unstructured datasets.
- Knowledge of technical documentation for developed solutions and experience working in international and multicultural environments.
- Desirable knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Microsoft .NET, C#, ASP.NET Core, Linux shell and Linux concepts, Neo4j graph databases, and Azure DevOps.
