Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain UKI web applications using VB.NET and ASP.NET WebForms.
- Deliver enhancements, bug fixes, performance improvements, and safe changes to live systems.
- Support live production systems and troubleshoot issues across code, data, and integrations.
- Work with SQL Server queries, views, stored procedures, and data analysis.
- Contribute to modernization and refactoring of legacy .NET components using Azure where appropriate.
- Improve application performance, security, reliability, and maintainability.
- Support integrations, background jobs, data imports, and data exports.
- Collaborate with developers, technical leads, support teams, and business stakeholders.
Requirements
- Strong experience with .NET technologies, particularly VB.NET and ASP.NET WebForms.
- Solid experience with SQL Server, including queries, views, stored procedures, and data analysis.
- Basic JavaScript, HTML, and CSS skills; jQuery experience is a plus.
- Experience working with legacy systems and existing codebases.
- Comfort supporting live, customer-facing applications in a hands-on, support-focused environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, troubleshooting ability, and clear communication.
- C#, modern .NET, Azure App Services, Azure SQL, Azure DevOps, Web APIs, modernization, integrations, data imports and exports, and background jobs are nice-to-have qualifications.
