Base Salary
$183k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, deploy, and maintain full-stack internal and external software products across frontend, backend, data, and AI layers.
- Own product architecture, observability, reliability, maintenance, and the complete product lifecycle.
- Build self-service workflow systems that allow analysts, operators, and domain experts to adapt tools independently.
- Work directly with users to understand workflows, co-create solutions, and help them safely contribute code and workflows.
- Design unified data models connecting business systems, operational data, and plant telemetry through transformation pipelines and a governed semantic layer.
- Build and enforce access controls for sensitive, proprietary, and counterparty-restricted data across products, workflows, and AI interfaces.
- Create proactive evaluation and guardrail systems for AI task failures, tool-calling errors, grounding gaps, security issues, and regressions.
- Define architectural patterns, development practices, and technical guardrails across Antora’s software ecosystem.
Requirements
- Strong Python and TypeScript skills with experience working across frontend and backend systems.
- Production experience owning applications end to end, including deployment, observability, reliability, and maintenance.
- Experience building and deploying LLM-powered systems used by real users.
- Strong data fundamentals, including SQL, warehouse modeling, data quality, freshness, lineage, testing, and transformation frameworks such as dbt or equivalent.
- Experience shipping data changes through CI.
- Experience building collaboratively with non-engineers through pairing, teaching, code review, and user enablement.
- Strong product judgment and the ability to turn ambiguous requests into clear product direction and practical shipped solutions.
- Clear cross-functional communication across product, data, AI, and software engineering.
- Practical judgment about risk, governance, user autonomy, and engineering controls.
- Bonus: experience with semantic layers using dbt or Cube, ClickHouse, time-series data, IoT systems, MCP, plugin and tool APIs, energy or industrial technology, manufacturing, or AI model usage, performance, and cost governance.
