Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize the Azure foundation platform with a focus on Microsoft Entra ID, identity management, security, and automation.
- Create Infrastructure-as-Code automation with Terraform and APIs, ideally using Go, to manage and optimize Entra ID and related services.
- Manage and automate app registrations, enterprise applications, Conditional Access policies, and Administrative Units.
- Develop and maintain authentication, authorization, and SSO processes, including OAuth2 and SAML integrations.
- Define and implement authentication and authorization rules, automated tests, monitoring, and secure Entra ID configuration controls.
- Manage and optimize Azure and Microsoft 365 services and support the integration of new Azure foundation services.
- Document technical solutions and provide knowledge transfer and training to internal teams on Entra ID and DevOps topics.
Requirements
- Completed computer science education at a university of applied sciences or university, or an equivalent qualification.
- Several years of practical experience with Microsoft Azure and strong knowledge of Azure foundation services.
- Very strong Microsoft Entra ID knowledge, particularly Conditional Access, Identity Protection, and Application Proxy.
- Strong Infrastructure-as-Code experience, especially with Terraform.
- Experience developing automation solutions and APIs, ideally with Go as well as Python or Bash.
- Good knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD processes, with experience using GitLab.
- Strong understanding of IAM, network security, and OAuth2, SAML, and OpenID Connect authentication protocols.
- Experience with SSO and integrating applications into centralized authentication and authorization processes.
- Experience with cloud security technologies and, ideally, Microsoft 365.
- Experience with agile development methods such as Scrum or SAFe.
- Analytical and conceptual thinking, structured and independent working style, strong communication skills, and a team- and customer-oriented approach.
- Good German and English skills are mandatory.
