Base Salary
$53k - $108k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop software and research solutions for complex customer problems.
- Work collaboratively on a challenge-project team in a startup accelerator-style internship program.
- Apply programming, machine learning, data mining, statistics, or graph algorithm knowledge.
- Conduct research, write software, produce technical documentation, and create design artifacts.
- Present the team’s solution during the final Challenge Cup competition to senior leadership.
Requirements
- Experience with Java, JavaScript, C, C++, Assembly, Python, Perl, R, or Bash.
- Experience with machine learning, data mining, statistics, or graph algorithms in academic or internship environments.
- Experience conducting research and writing software.
- Ability to produce technical documentation and create design artifacts.
- Ability to work independently and in teams.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Scheduled to obtain a bachelor’s degree in a technology, engineering, or mathematics field by Summer 2028 or Summer 2029.
- Excellent critical thinking, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills are preferred.
