Responsibilities
- Architect multi-sprint initiatives across Angular/TypeScript product experiences, service and API contracts, and platform integration layers.
- Own complete features end to end, including data models, backend services, integrations, frontend experiences, and production delivery.
- Write high-quality TypeScript and full-stack code while establishing scalable integration boundaries and making durable architectural decisions.
- Scope timelines, break down complex work, coordinate cross-team dependencies, and maintain delivery momentum.
- Mentor engineers through design reviews, code reviews, pairing, and technical discussions.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, QA, SRE, and platform engineering stakeholders to translate customer problems into reliable solutions.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of software engineering experience with strong TypeScript and modern frontend expertise, ideally including Angular, plus backend services and API experience.
- Proven ownership of complete technical initiatives across frontend, backend, and integration layers from architecture through production deployment.
- Strong understanding of service-oriented architectures, REST APIs, event-driven systems, AWS, and scalable application architecture.
- Ability to navigate existing backend systems and PHP-backed services without requiring specialization in every technology involved.
- Hands-on experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end automated testing, CI/CD, observability, monitoring, and technical-debt management.
- Ability to guide engineers through technical uncertainty, unblock complex problems, mentor peers, and communicate technical tradeoffs.
- Progress toward Staff Engineer or formal technical leadership is a bonus.
- Experience balancing immediate delivery needs with long-term system health and delegating technical ownership is a bonus.
