Responsibilities
- Support the specification and implementation of MOSS/RLMIS software solutions.
- Implement software components, system interfaces, and new features within the existing software landscape.
- Create unit tests, maintain code quality, and participate in technical reviews.
- Create and maintain technical development documentation.
- Learn the system architecture and UML-based design specifications.
- Progressively assume independent responsibility for smaller features or modules after onboarding.
- Collaborate with experienced developers on technical decisions in a complex integrated system.
Requirements
- Completed degree in computer science or a comparable qualification, with initial practical software-development experience through working-student roles, internships, or early professional experience.
- Solid knowledge of at least one object-oriented programming language, such as C#, Java, or C++.
- Understanding of software-engineering principles including object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.
- Ability to independently learn new technical topics and complex subject domains.
- Structured and analytical working style with a strong quality focus.
- Fluent written and spoken German and English.
- Motivation to help shape technical standards and develop toward subject-matter expertise.
- Knowledge of Eurofighter or A400M ground-support systems is advantageous.
- Knowledge of operating, maintenance, and repair processes in flying organizations is advantageous.
