Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve build, packaging, deployment, and test automation.
- Complete development and scripting tasks to improve internal tools.
- Troubleshoot internal systems and tools through resolution.
- Support day-to-day technical services and operational tasks.
- Work with engineers to understand requirements, architecture, and development tools.
- Research technologies, share findings, and document work.
Requirements
- Entry-level software development position; prior software development environment experience is preferred.
- Currently pursuing or have completed a bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Genuine interest in DevOps and the software supply chain.
- Clear written and verbal communication and ability to work effectively on a team.
- Good time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to complete tasks with supervision.
- Desired exposure to virtual environments, Jenkins automation, Packer, Docker, Chocolatey, databases, and version control systems.
- Some development ability in C#, C++, VBScript, JavaScript, ASP.NET, HTML, Perl, awk, Python, Lua, PowerShell, or Bash.
- Exposure to Microsoft SQL Server and GitHub or Perforce.
