Base Salary
$150k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop full-stack system features and backend APIs based on customer requirements.
- Implement features, system updates, and upgrades in response to evolving mission requirements.
- Support automation development through code reviews, software engineering expertise, and enabling capabilities.
- Modernize and harden mission management systems, including migration to Kubernetes-based infrastructure.
- Improve system reliability, maintainability, and performance.
- Develop and implement security enhancements for mission systems and applications.
- Collaborate with customers and engineering teams to translate mission needs into technical solutions.
Requirements
- Active Top Secret (TS/SCI) clearance with polygraph is required.
- U.S. citizenship is required; green card holders and permanent residents are not eligible.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, or four additional years of experience in place of the degree.
- Eight years of software development experience.
- Experience building production-grade applications and APIs with Django, Flask, FastAPI, or similar frameworks.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm chart development, and CI/CD integration.
- Proficiency with SQL and databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, Elasticsearch, and MongoDB.
- Familiarity with Git-based version control and collaborative development workflows.
- Familiarity with Atlassian tools including Jira and Confluence.
