Responsibilities
- Drive core feature delivery across the flight booking funnel.
- Build scalable services to support B2B distribution and new airline integrations.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of resilient, low-latency services.
- Design, implement, and deploy high-quality code for new flight product features.
- Participate in system design discussions to improve scalability and performance.
- Lead technical implementation of integrations with airline and GDS partners.
- Uphold code quality through reviews and mentorship of junior engineers.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
- Partner with Product Managers to understand requirements and estimate delivery timelines.
Requirements
- Proven track record of owning technical implementation and deployment of features.
- Experience designing highly available microservices in production environments.
- Strong proficiency in Scala or other JVM languages like Java/Kotlin.
- Familiarity with service communication methods such as gRPC, Pub/Sub, and REST.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with teams.
