Responsibilities
- Design security requirements and security-critical aspects of software and hardware architectures and support their implementation.
- Help protect products and solutions for critical infrastructure, particularly the electricity sector, against cyberattacks.
- Work with Product Management and other stakeholders to shape the strategic direction of security topics.
- Advise and train development, QA, management, support, customers, and other internal and external audiences.
- Develop processes for improved workflows, knowledge management, and information flow.
- Manage vulnerabilities from technical analysis through follow-up of security weaknesses.
- Support compliance activities, certifications, self-declarations, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Several years of professional experience in IT security in close collaboration with software development.
- Basic programming experience in hardware-oriented languages such as C and C++.
- Practical experience working in agile development environments.
- Experience working with standards and regulatory requirements.
- Knowledge of IEC 62443-4-1/-2, EU RED, or CRA is advantageous.
- Experience in embedded or IoT environments is advantageous.
- Fluent written and spoken German and English.
- Ability to collaborate with people from different professional fields and backgrounds.
