Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain high quality services, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Collaborate with team members to contribute to the design and evolution of services architecture.
- Create robust RESTful APIs and integrate with external services.
- Work with various database systems to design efficient data models.
- Identify and address performance bottlenecks in services.
- Write unit and integration tests and participate in code reviews.
- Investigate and resolve production issues to ensure system availability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent from a premier institution.
- 2+ years of experience as a backend developer with a focus on services development.
- Proficiency in services development frameworks such as Java, React, or Angular.
- Solid understanding of services architecture principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in RESTful API design and development.
- Familiarity with databases (SQL or NoSQL) and data modeling.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Experience with public cloud platforms.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
