Responsibilities
- Design and build tools, runtimes, and services for faster, safer, and more intuitive AI development.
- Apply engineering principles to solve complex problems and deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Complete software projects end-to-end in a collaborative team environment.
- Debug, seek feedback, iterate, and contribute ideas to AI-first tools and developer platforms.
- Work with technologies supporting developer productivity across Visual Studio Code, GitHub, and Azure.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Have at least one semester or term remaining after completing the internship.
- Proficiency in one or more of C/C++, C#, Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, testing practices, and quality fundamentals.
- Ability to debug, seek feedback, and iterate with teammates.
- Preferred: interest in AI/ML and AI-assisted developer experiences such as Copilot and LLM-powered tools.
- Preferred: exposure to compilers, runtimes, performance optimization, or systems programming.
- Preferred: familiarity with distributed systems and cloud services, including Azure.
