Responsibilities
- Collect laboratory performance-testing data and field operating data from centrifugal compressors.
- Build automated data-processing pipelines and databases.
- Apply statistical methods to identify deviations and trends.
- Analyze compressor thermodynamic performance and develop predictive performance models.
- Develop customized software and interfaces for applications.
- Support aerodynamic and structural design validation through data analysis.
- Analyze trends in vibration, temperature, bearings, and sealing systems.
- Support digital twin and smart monitoring or diagnostics platforms.
- Conduct root cause analysis and support FMEA activities.
- Support customer validation tests and provide technical data analysis.
Requirements
- Master's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Fluid Machinery, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
- More than 7 years of experience with a master's degree or 4 years of experience with a PhD in centrifugal compressors or turbomachinery.
- Solid understanding of centrifugal compressors or turbomachinery and familiarity with compressor performance maps.
- Strong knowledge of statistical analysis and experience with data-analysis tools.
- Proven ability to develop customized software and application interfaces.
- HVAC or industrial compressor experience is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Good communication skills, ability to work across teams, and effective communication skills in English.
