Responsibilities
- Develop and drive execution of software for sophisticated new technology and product introduction projects.
- Validate new software features before customer release.
- Work directly with customers to support and enable manufacturing processes.
- Design and implement scalable, durable software architectures for next-generation datacenter systems.
- Collaborate with feature teams, development teams, project managers, and other groups to deliver planning solutions and technology.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and promote engineering best practices.
- Travel up to 25%.
Requirements
- Production software development experience in languages such as Python, C, Rust, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Shell/Bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience mentoring junior engineers and driving knowledge transfer and best-practice adoption.
- Experience with Docker or Containerd and orchestration frameworks such as Kubernetes or Slurm.
- Deep understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Hands-on experience with I2C, PCIe, IPMI, Redfish, TCP/IP, and UDP.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, design principles, patterns, and best practices.
- Experience with hyperscale computing or datacenter platform infrastructure is a significant plus.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and technologies is a plus.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer/Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
