Responsibilities
- Define enterprise cloud strategy and target architectures for scalability, resilience, and high availability.
- Select appropriate SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS cloud services and technologies for application and business needs.
- Establish infrastructure-as-code, automation, governance, security, identity, network segmentation, data protection, and compliance standards.
- Guide application modernization and migration from legacy systems to cloud-native architectures, including microservices and serverless implementations.
- Design disaster recovery plans, anticipate security risks, and promote reliability and observability standards.
- Lead high-level cloud cost optimization, assess the financial impact of technology choices, and track infrastructure ROI.
- Promote DevOps and SRE principles and maintain ongoing cloud technology watch.
- Serve as a technical reference for development and engineering teams.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of professional experience, including 3 years in cloud architecture.
- Confirmed professional experience with Google Cloud or AWS.
- Passion for technology monitoring and personal projects.
